Game boards, moves, messages, and mail copies are deleted on a rolling 60-day schedule. We store perpetually the email addresses used to start a game, The country of user if option chosen, the rating score, and a running count of games associated with each address.

We send invitations, turn notices, and messages to the addresses you provide. Do not share your private play link; anyone who has it plays as you and can access all your current games.

Terms:

The service is provided as-is for personal, non-commercial play. Do not use it for harassment or unlawful activity. We may remove games, and ban players, that violate these terms.

Limitation of Liability:

In no event shall we be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on this website, even if notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

Intellectual Property Rights:

All content, branding, trademarks, and materials on this website are the property of our company and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written permission.

Cookies:

LinkChess sets a session cookie named linkchess_admin for visitors, including people who are not signed in. It keeps a sign-in session. The cookie is HttpOnly. On an HTTPS visit it is marked Secure.

Video Cookies:

The homepage video is not loaded from YouTube until you press play. After that, the video is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, a third party that may set its own cookies.
